On November 25, 2024, Emirates not only took delivery of its first of 60 Airbus A350 aircraft on order, but it also marks the first new aircraft type to enter the fleet since 2008. On her delivery flight from Toulouse, France to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, A6-EXA was powered by a blend of jet fuel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The A350 will make her debut in January 2025 on the route Dubai-Edinburgh, with more destinations across the Middle East, West Asia and Europe to follow.
