On December 10, 2020 American Airlines took delivery of this Boeing 737-8 aircraft, bearing registration number N323SG and fleet number 35G. It was the first 737-8 delivered to the airline with the new Silver Eagle™ non-mica gray paint. The aircraft flew from Seattle's Boeing Field (BFI) to Tulsa International Airport (TUL). Delivering improvements in fuel, emissions and cost performance, the 737-8 can fly 3,500 nautical miles (6,480 km) and seats 162 to 21 0 passengers depending on configuration. This paint is lighter, which will increase fuel-efficiency, and will be better for the environment. By moving to Silver Eagle, American's fleet of airplanes will burn approximately 1 million fewer gallons of fuel per year.
