LOT was the first European airline to introduce the Boeing 787 in Europe. Since that first aircraft arrived in 2012, the Dreamliner has become the flagship of the Polish airline. Adding to the eight 787-8s in the fleet, seven stretched-fuselage 787-9 variants were delivered in 2018 and 2019 to further increase its international network.
