Over the course of its long operational career which started in 1969, this Galaxy had received various paint schemes; the model carries the European I camouflage paint scheme introduced in the 1980s. Some of the C-5s used at the time by the New York-based 137th Airlift Squadron, like this model, bore “Empire State” commemorating its home base as additional lettering on the front of the fuselage. Made of resin, the model features metal landing gear with rubber tires, providing a secure and stable presentation on your desk or in your cabinet.
