The Croatian airline received its first of a total of 14 Airbus A220s on order in July 2024. The first scheduled flight led – for historical reasons – from the Croatian capital Zagreb to Frankfurt: in 1992, the first international flight of the then newly founded airline also led to Germany's largest airport. In a few years, the A220s will replace the entire current fleet of Croatia Airlines, consisting of A319s, A320s and Q400s. 
 
Originally designed for inflight sales, the plastic push-fit models of the Herpa Snap-Fit series shine with an attractive finish and a great value for the money. Snap-Fit models are available in the scales 1:100, 1:200 to 1:250, include an elegant display stand, and can be assembled in no time without a drop of glue.
